MEBA Alpha 8 (510DG)

The Alpha 8 Double Mitre Dual Column bandsaw is designed for speed cutting. The 700mm x 510mm opening at 90° allows for the cutting of all Structural Sections, pipe up to 510mm in Diameter and most importantly, Packs or Bundles of Steel. The powerful 7.5kW spindle Motor is balanced with the Ballscrew feed in the Downfeed axis. The intelligent control offers accuracy and flexibility with a measure of control overriding the operator on complex cuts with a Web, hard Spot or well worn blade. The Dual Mitre provides maximum cutting range for larger materials with 45° Left and 60° right. All the functions of the Alpha 7 with the capacity for processing packs or bundles of steel.
